About Planet Moirai Major

Planet Moirai Major is far on the outskirts of their universe and tucked away between two stars. They are the fourth planet from their sun. It is a small planet which was first home to the "sentience", which they called "Ambroisium" and was fiercely protected by the humans who colonized the planet. They learned that the sentient being was in the earth itself and everything on the planet was a host to it, but not soon enough that they weren't affected themsevles.

When they first saw the planet they called it the Sage Planet because of all the luminous silvery green trees they saw. The planet itself is like a large herbal apothacary, producing the largest array of medicinal plants in the galaxy. Natural hot springs dot the landscape and serene moving rivers and pools of water do a serpentine twist through the terrian. This planet has oxygen, making it an obvious and natural choice for the humans that colonized it and provides a natural barrier against some particularly neferious species (like the 4 5 6) in some regard while attracting others for their resources. As a result of that Moirai has become a "tourist" planet, one can come see and even get the best treatment or their medical ailments but permanant residency is closed except to those that the Lachisis Clan foresee as being "fated" to live on Moirai. Even then, despite having access to all benifits, those residents often feel isolated and lonely.

The reason for that is the sentience "ambrosium" that has fused with the DNA of the humans of Moirai over the centuries has created a sort of psychic lattice network of community sentience throughout the Moirai. They know when something is out of balance within the clans. As a result, despite there being three clans, they are more like a interconnected family with different abilities, all of which keep their society running like clock work. This ability also connects them to the sentience of the planet, making them realize that their planet is a living thing and therefore they take care it it. As of yet, it has not proved to be malignent.

Because of its location and a heady haze of intergalatic debris and dust in space, Moirai has not known many invaders or visitors but because of the legend, they have a ferocious border defence program and a particularly ruthless unit within the military trained to protect Moirai at all costs.

Abrosium has also changed the human colony of this planet over the generations. At first, the humans experianced a sense of well-being, good health and longevity, but then, over centuries, the humans of Moirai stopped getting sick, their serious wounds healed quickly and their aging slowed down significantly. Whether the Moirai legecy of the clans and their traits are a result of the planet or of a change to fate due to the time travel undertaken by their 3 ancestors is currently unknown.
